The apse is located at the front of the church past the main altar. It contains space for the organ pipes in a loft between the apse windows, as well as the organ console directly behind the presider’s chair.
This window depicts the Ascension of Jesus into heaven in the prescense of His apostles, forty days following His resurrection. Jesus appears in His splendor and glory as he assumes his position at the right hand of the Father.
So then the Lord Jesus, after he spoke to them, was taken up into heaven and took his seat at the right hand of God.
This window is called the Agony in the Garden. It depicts the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed three times with Peter, James, and John. An angel came from heaven holding a cup to strengthen Him.
