Saint Brendan Church Building to reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, May 27

Saint Brendan Church building will reopen tomorrow, Wednesday for private prayer and adoration. We will be open from 11 am until 3 pm Monday through Saturday. You must wear a mask to enter the church through the ramp entrance. Hand sanitizer will be available on a table inside the door. You must follow social distancing norms while in the church. Only 10 people will be allowed in the church at any time. Please use the marked seats. No group prayers or devotions at this time.

We are looking for volunteers to sit in the church for an hour at a time to make sure that all the regulations are followed. If you are willing to volunteer please contact the rectory asap.

Join St. Brendan Parish for Radio Bingo hosted by DJs @ Work on Friday, October 18th

Doors open at 6:30 pm – St. Brendan Parish Hall located at 1202 Avenue O, corner of East 12th Street

Admission fee is $35 pp or $300 for a table of 10
includes Radio Bingo games, snacks, soda, coffee, cake and great memories!

Wake (St. Brendan Church)

Thursday 2-5 pm and 6-9 pm

Friday 2-5 pm Vigil Mass 7:30 pm

Saturday Funeral Mass 10:30 am

Monsignor Rocco Villani, former pastor of Saint Brendan and pastor emeritus of Saint Mary, Mother of Jesus, died peacefully in his rooms at St. Brendan on Tuesday evening just as the Angelus rang. He had been in the hospital for nine days and had just come home to begin hospice care. He was alert and happy and died in the peace of Jesus just after being anointed.
Arrangements for the wake and funeral which will take place in Saint Brendan Church will be available late Wednesday.
Thank you Rocco! Live in the peace of Jesus!
